Senior Data Scientist at the Swiss National Bank

I'm a senior data scientist at the Swiss National Bank. I obtained my PhD in Economics and Finance from the University of St. Gallen in 2020. After a post-doc at the University of Basel I joined the Swiss National Bank in the Technology and Data Science team of the Foreign Exchange and Money Market unit. My research interests focus on causal machine learning, financial econometrics and natural language processing. In my spare time, I like to go climbing, hiking, and in the winter skiing.
