Senior Economist at the Swiss National Bank

I'm a senior economist at the Swiss National Bank. I obtained my PhD in Economics and Finance from the University of St. Gallen in 2020. After a post-doc at the University of Basel I joined the Swiss National Bank in the Technology and Data Science team of the Foreign Exchange and Money Market unit. Since June 2026 I joined the Financial Stability unit of the Swiss National Bank. My research interests focus on causal machine learning, financial econometrics and natural language processing. In my spare time, I like to go climbing, hiking, and in the winter skiing.
